I am stocking up on Celestial Seasonings Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride Herbal Tea. If your local store display is empty then you know that I've been there! I have also purchased Spirutein's Egg Nog protein shake mix. I haven't tried it yet, but will let you know what I think of it as soon as I do. I am on a search for festive yet healthy holiday fare like the cauliflower soup I found with the red pepper puree you float on top to make a poinsettia! I'll let you know how that goes. I also plan on making a huge arugula salad sprinkled with pomegranate, toasted pumpkin seeds and some candied butternut squash. I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big healthy hit! Well enough about me. Fill me in on your plans.
It sounds like you've go some great ideas. I've been pretty good so far with snacks in the workroom, etc. at work. Some days I've been able to pass completely, but my rule right now is that if I'm going to taste, it's going to be a bite, a taste, not the whole things. That's worked great so far. I have a potluck coming up and I'm going to bring something that I know is safe for me and then try to limit myself to tastes of just a few things out of my regular plan.
