Race Packets

They're like grown up candy bags... the good ones.

First 5K was with SNIPSA - great packet. Tshirt (of course) a few coupons from sponsors, a frisbee and most importantly, for me, info on upcoming 5K's! FANTASTIC

2nd 5K was for Feast of the Heart - "eh" packet. Tshirt (long sleeved yeah!), maybe some coupons... I can't remember honestly... It certainly didn't live up to the SNIPSA one though.

3rd was the Jingle Bell 5K - uh...this isn't a packet. They gave me a shirt and bells for my shoes... APPARENTELY that was just me. I don't know. Everyone else got a nice bag and a rubber ducky and snacks! psh!

4th is for St. Judes - YES!- Tshirt, while awful in color is a tech shirt (QUALITY!) and includes a coupon for a free taco from taco cabana, race info for upcoming races, bells for my shoes and some random info from sponsors. After the last packet, I'm pretty excited about today's.

I felt kinda bad for you when I found out how chintzy your Jingle Bell packet was. Mine had the shirt, power bar, rubber ducky (no clue why)which I gave to my grandson, a koozy which I gave to my brother-in-law who collects them (again no clue why), jingle bells, lots of fliers and woo hoo! I got lip balm! Love me some free lip balm!

Glad you got a quality shirt even if it was a yucky color. I'm thinking I might have a nice collection of trophy shirts to remember my 5Ks from by this time next could happen!

You are about to take on your 4th 5K and you have done them all in just the last few months. I think that is awesome with a capital AWE! Not to mention you are becoming a body combat diva! You are inspiring, you little warrior pixie, you! emoticon

I would be just happy with the T-shirt. You should try a cycling event. You get all kind of neat stuff sometimes. I like getting the new water bottles and snacks! emoticon

I agree, the only things worth (sometimes) the entry fees are the shirts, and those are even questionable. As for the happy meal toys and ads fliers - please keep 'em. Coupns etc for future events or purchases would be much preferred and once there was even a lip balm which has wound up coming in handy for the winter chapped lips.

Well yes, I was one of the ones that got a bag with a rubber ducky and the rest of the stuff. Sorry you didn't get one. It was all thanks to Sandra who picked up my bag on Friday for me (thanks again girlie).

Awesome that this one is better! You go girlie!!! You're fourth 5K that's so cool!!! God willing I plan to do more too! Good luck and update us on how it went!!!

Swag bags are just fun. Though I would be just as happy with picking up what I REALLY want at a race expo or the finish line festival. I actually DO pick up fliers if I am truly interested in the product or event being advertised.
