I want to thank my daughter tonight, she is the one who cheered for me the last half hour to keep pushing hence why I was able to make up 2 of the 6 miles from yesterday. So yes, 12 miles, DONE!

Giving the amount of cardio I have been doing these last 5 days and doing great in my eating habits, and although it's not Friday, I wanted to get on the scale this morning to see what kind of amazing progress I was making. I mean, the Biggest Loser contestants would drop 10-20 pounds their 1st week of intense workouts and eating appropriately, right?

So, yes, I was expecting to see a 4-5 pound loss. Wrongo!! Nein!! Didn't happen!! I have not gone down one pound! Still at my starting weight of 241. So I asked myself this morning Why? Why am I brutally working out 2 to 2-1/2 hours every day, waking up sore or even worse, and feeling like I am starving, with no results?

I have the answer; it is because I made a challenge to myself, a goal. BTW, I haven't made any of my weight goals that I planned out since starting SP. I also gained back more than most of my lost weight. I am doing this because for once I am going to complete this challenge and make my goal! I have a goal and I will succeed.

Yes, my friends I have been doing well with eating. I haven't bumped up the calories too much but I always make sure I am within the ranges needed to maintain. Today was weigh in day and I have lost 4 pounds. Now I feel like it has been worth the time and efforts. Lest not forget that I had gained back 30 of the 32 pounds that I lost in just two months.

I just erased a bunch of paragraphs, I turned this answer into another

Keep plugging along and things will change!! Like DianeG63 asked, have you changed your caloric intake to compensate for all the cardio you are doing?

I know that you WILL be able to do this!!!

Native, you are burning a lot of calories. Have you increased your calorie intake to compensate?
