Keeping it up everyday...

Saturday, December 04, 2010

I have been exercising everyday for the past 2 weeks and it feels great. I am sleeping better and have more energy and I only have 1-2 cups of coffee on the weekends when I work my 3 doubles unlike before when I had 3-5 cups a day. I have been using the Wii Fit Plus and it is so much fun and I have such a good time doing it I dont even realize I'm exercising or that all that time has past. I am a competitive person by nature so it works well for me to keep trying harder to beat my scores from the previous times. It has everything.. strength, aerobics, balance, Yoga, stretching.... its great. In the 2 weeks that I have been playing the Wii Fit Plus every night, I have lost 11lbs... I weighed myself today!! I'm so excited and dont even mind that I spend 80 minutes or so everyday doing these exercises. I'm also finding small extras everyday like parking 10 extra spaces from where I normally would be, or instead of cutting through a bunch of isles at the store, walking around and taking what I like to call, a "Scenic Route". Making more than one trip back out to the car to get the groceries instead of carrying them all in one trip, and when I'm watching TV at night, I sit on my balance ball and do crunches and work on my balance and posture.
This is working for me this time and I'm very happy about it. My mind, body, and soul are happy with this routine I have going so I'm going to keep on keeping on.
