counting calories actually works! I have been consistent with counting my calories, for all of two days, and I am already down a pound! I have been hovering at 165.5 for a month, and this very morning the scale said 164. Taaa daaaa! Light bulb moment. Count calories, lose weight. Also, sparkpeople has this new AWESOME report that shows you your calorie deficit. I love this tool! I am a numbers kind of person, and this tool shows me how I can reach my goals. Here is to more pounds gone! emoticon

    My motto is that nutrition is how you lose weight and exercise is what makes the weight you do have look better!

    I know, I'm always amazed that it works as well! I'm sure this is because I'm young and healthy, but losing weight has been such a no-brainer for me: eat what sparkpeople tells you to and exercise as much as you say you will, and the weight comes off at the rate they predict. We know a lot about how calories work -- it's not confusing or mysterious. I love science! Lol.

    Also, congrats on the weight loss! Feels so good!
