Even though Monday was relatively nice, I was completely exhausted. The weather yesterday was overcast and drizzly and today has been awful; raining most of the day, with high winds. Such weather does very little for my mood or my body, I'm very ache-y and still pretty fatigued and it makes it difficult to get out to the pool and keep moving on the exercise front.
I was able to get in some exercise using a couple of the exercise dvd's that I've invested in, "Chair Dancing" "Sit and Be Fit", plus the free "Active MS" dvd that was mentioned in several blogs of members of Doin' It With MS Team.
My dog, Meka, who just had the stitches removed from his ear on the 19th, after surgery for his aural hematoma, has had a recurrence. His ear flap was once again swelling, so we went to the vet on Monday the 29th and they lanced it once again, but it is recurring again, even now.
There is still one more procedure that they might try before recommending another surgery, so we'll be going in next Monday to consider that. If that procedure doesn't do it, I don't know how much benefit there would be in a second surgery, that all needs to be discussed.
On the positive side, we've come to the end of the useful life of Thanksgiving leftovers yesterday with some turkey enchiladas, pictured below:
Here are a couple of other food "still life" photos taken by my husband, David:
I'm hoping that blue (or bluer) skies will bring an increase in energy and that the weekend will bring more clarity about how to deal with the "great ear decision".
What helps you keep going or get back on track?
