5 weeks to the New Year

I seem to have lost a week in there -- getting sick and all. I have a new fitness tool, a foam roller. It's to help loosen up and massage the illiotibial band -- a band of tissue which causes pain in my knee when I try to run. I'll be trying to fit in a routine of hip care now in order to free up some exercise possibilities.
New goal is to create a calorie reduction of 750 calories/day or more. It will be interesting as there is a holiday starting Wednesday -- one that we will celebrate late with friends and family, so it will be a month of different options.
