post-Thanksgiving reality check

Friday, November 26, 2010

I love to enjoy food, and make, bake and share all of the favorite treats of the season. And that is not something I'm willing to give up--ever.

BUT--I also love being healthy, wearing clothes that fit, and feeling ok with my belly.

There is a way to do both, I am convinced. But it means Thanksgiving--and Christmas, too--are not months long affairs, but are days--special DAYS, not special feasts that last a whole season.

So. Today, I'm tracking again. And my goal is to get control again, get back to my goal AGAIN, before the next special feast times occur.

Because I really want to enjoy those too...without sliding off and being drowned in the swamp of fat cells that I'm teetering dangerously close to right now!!

Hi Deb. I'm there with you! Didn't do all that work this year to put it back on! I'm sure you will get back to have the will power and determination. Have a great, blessed Christmas! Cheryl

I'm right there, too. I know I need to get back to tracking and to a regular routine again of exercise. I've slipped. I'll keep track of you, if you keep track of me.

By the way---where are those baby pictures???????

Deb thanks for the Spark Goodie. It is going to get warmer in Dallas. I hope you succeed in the tracking. The holidays are so difficult with food choices, as you so aptly stated in your blog.
