I joined SP 13 months ago and I count this resource among my blessings today. I have lost and maintained a loss of 50 pounds and am now embarking on continuing to lose to my goal weight, which amounts to about 25-30 pounds. SP is not a "diet", it is a new way of life. I have found that I have made permanent changes in the way I eat, what I eat, and why I eat. At SP I have learned about nutrition, activity, and psychological issues around obesity. The cravings for fast food, junk food, and inactivity have all but disappeared from my life. I have actually come to enjoy....even look forward to....physical activity, and a year ago, I absolutely hated it. I honestly never thought I'd see the day! As I have changed myself on the outside, I have changed on the inside even more dramatically. This is what I see most of all. Indeed, among my greatest blessings this Thanksgiving, is having my 17 year old daughter come up to me yesterday and, after a long look at my face, saying " look good. You look HEALTHY." I FEEL healthy. And it is only going to get better from here. THANK YOU SP!!!
