I'm missing my goal for the year

Sunday, November 21, 2010

I am missing my goal for the year. It was to lose 100 lbs. so far I have lost 41 lbs. this year it's a long way from 100 lbs. but I have managed to lose a good deal of weight, considering what I have been through this year. I was flat on my butt for 4 months and I didn't gain any weight. I didn't lose any weight during that time, but I didn't gain any either. I feel that is a small accomplishment.

I am now back to being able to walk and am trying to lose weight again. I admit when I was flat on my butt I didn't try very hard to lose weight, I was more interested in why I was sitting and not able to move around.

My goal now is to lose a total of 50 lbs this year. I will start the new year with a new goal. If I can accomplish losing 50 lbs this year, I will be satisfied for this year. Every loss no matter how small is better than a gain. I can try to lose 100 lbs. next year. It will be my last chance to lose 100 lbs in a year, because I intend to lose even if it isn't 100 lbs. After this I will have less than 100 lbs to lose to goal. That is if I lose 50 lbs this year.

The holidays are coming up and I have to keep my goal in mind. It is very important to me. Holidays come around every year and this is a one time chance. That's all I have to remember. Good luck to all.
