Wow, What a Day!

I know two blogs in one day. The first blog was because when I got home last night Spark was down for updates :P This is 'todays' blog.

A nice relaxing morning while Nick popped into work for a couple hours. Lots more e-mailing (so many e-mails lately!). Then we got to spend a little time together before running errands. The dealership let him borrow a used mini van (as my Civic coupe is a bit small) for the Junior League deliveries. Abby, our committee chair, was suppose to help me out today, but ended up over booking herself, and everything couldn't fit in my car (or even her four door Acura, thank you). Before all that, I went to Forty Plus to send the evite for the holiday party I'm planning. A dozen people have already RSVPed in six hours. That makes me a bit nervous about affording enough food- most of the time people are super last minute with their RSVPs. AND it was suppose to be a thank you/send off for our chairman, but he isn't able to make it! Yeah.....

Deliveries were mostly good. Nick got to see the awesome Cigar Room (see two posts back if you want to know what I'm talking about) which is nice coz he's working during the tour. The last set of mats (I was dropping off giant bins with shoe covers in them, yard signs, and two rugs for each house) was to go to the 'start' location at the Columbus Dance Theatre and the lady there was pretty stressful. She was upset about the drop offs being today and not tomorrow (which I guess Abby told her?) and ugh, it was unpleasant.

But! Once that was done, Nick and I got to the gym (we took all our stuff with us) in time for the 6:30 Zumba class! Nick isn't into the classes I took today, so he lifted weights and did cardio on his own. I didn't really like, or dislike, Zumba, Talking after class, apparently we don't do 'real' Zumba like they do in Florida. I wish it felt more latin than hip hop though :P And I know different people teach it differently, so we'll see how other girls are next week. After an hour of Zumba, there was half an hour of core conditioning. My abs are sore, but my butt is probably the worst right now. With the 25 minutes I did on the Wii, that makes TWO HOURS of activity today! We'll see if I can move in the morning, lol.

Last night Nick and I talked about what we were looking forward to with our weight loss. Not so much what the scale or tape measure says, but, well, how we feel or our clothes fit. I am looking forward to (in this order):
-My neck has been feeling 'fat' lately, I don't think it will take long to feel better!
-My arms being even just half an inch skinner, as most of my jackets, including my beloved plum winter dress coat, either fit poorly or not at all :(
-The bottom tummy pudge is going to take a long time to get better, but the top pudge will be a good indicator of progress
-At this point, pants will probably start changing
-Finally, the really big thing I'm looking forward to is: a smaller bra!!! That I think won't happen until the summer at the soonest, even with a lot of hard work. Lets face it, boobs are stubborn, lol.

Whew, well I'm exhausted, but no bed yet! Off to see Harry Potter at midnight- at this point, it's just tradition! Thanks for reading!

Great job on activity today!!!! And I love that you guys talk about your goals together. It makes it so much easier to "behave" when your hubby is on board too.

Ohhhh I totally love your body changing goals. And that's great that Nick goes to the gym with you! And sorry you didn't super enjoy your zumba class. Does your gym offer another instructor on another night? We have two classes each taught by different ladies, and I totally LOVE one of them and am a bit blaaa about the other one.

And soooo jealous that you got to see Harry Potter this morning! If it wasn't for that 6:30 AM work thing, I totally would have been there too.
