Just an update. . .

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

I realized I had not blogged in awhile. So, here it goes. I'm finally on a down trend with my wt.
I remained steady all summer, only to start seeing a few lbs gain this fall. I normally gain 5 to 10 over the holidays, So. . . I was getting concerned. emoticon

Then I found this great team"Hold the Stuffing" And I have 2 buddy's on the team. emoticon
I asked one and she (myplan51) already had a buddy, but still included me! and then someone asked me to be a buddy (Jen)! So, I'm not going it alone. I am the only over wt one in my family and it's tough!
I'm still exercising like crazy, and drinking my water religiously. but it's my nutrition that needs work. So, my goals for the holiday season:

1. get to onederland! (at 205 right now)
2. track everyday! (regardless of how much I eat)
3 continue drinking my water as I have.
4. continue my exercise routine.
5 do some core exercises every am. (sit ups, etc)
6 do 100 push ups by the new yr. (at least make a good stab at it)
7 and enjoy the holidays with my family! (not stressing over my wt)

Well, I'm having to limit my time on SP, Ugh! Headed off for some shopping today, Watching those calories!

Have a wonderful and Sparkling day and Holiday Season!

These are definitely good and attainable goals. I have found that tracking everything helps me to make better choices. I gave up pop and pretty much all junk food all at the same time. It was hard, but it was MY choice. The things I was doing were not helping me, so if I wanted a healthier life, I HAD to give up my vices. That was September 28th and I have not looked back. I have had ice cream (my favorite) a few times a week, just not gobs of it at a time. I sneak in a tootsie roll (a mini one) about once or twice a week. Other than that, it's been all good foods. The results speak for themselves - 36 pounds lost so far.
I'm sure that you will get to Onederland soon and I can't wait to celebrate with you!

Hey Tracey, your list looks perfect & I could not improve it at all! I love the part where you are not going to stress about your weight. I have never tired that before so I will be waiting to hear how it goes. Any time I let up on myself about my weight, it is not pretty. Keep us posted. Victoria

Here is some water to help you with your goals, a body ball to help you with your core exercise, push ups, cardio & Music to help you relax.

    Love your goals!!

I want to get to onederland too. We can do it together, although I have a bit more to get there, but I am not letting that slow me down (or so I hope). LOL!

Tracking my food I have become accustom to and I even track things that are hard to track. I always lean to the side of more than less when tracking (though that isn't always the best, but at least its something). It helps to tell me what I am doing wrong, to hopefully correct later.

We CAN and WILL do this!!!

I haven't been on the ball with my blogging either and this month I haven't even posted my goals!! Either way you've made a blog now and that's great. I think that you have some great goals and that you'll be able to achieve them all. emoticon
