Happy Anniversary!

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Well...It's been about a month since I wrote a blog, so I thought I would give a quick shout out.
This past month has been a good month in many ways. I reached a 10lb goal, and even though it has taken awhile, it's still in the right direction.
Now I'm looking forward to picking up the pace a little and in my heart, I know it's going to happen. Sometimes we kind of go into a stall...but that's ok too, as long as we know what our objective is and keep working towards it.
It's kind of like climbing a mountain. Just because you slip a little, or don't climb it quite as fast as you thought you would, doesn't mean you should just throw in the towel and give up.
That just doesn't fit in my vocabulary.
Now...As for the "Happy Anniversary". It's not because of how long I have been with Spark, but because today is my husbands and mine, anniversary.
23 years to be exact. Do I weigh what I did 23 years ago? I think we all know the answer to that one. ha ha....and ha ha again.
But....I am shooting for it. It's not an insane goal either. It's just one that I would like to achieve again, because I know how good it felt.
I'm also celebrating because I have my health and because I still have a wonderful loving, understanding and patient husband. We continue to face challenges each and every day, but I wouldn't want to face them with anyone else.
So today I give a shout out to let everyone know how happy and lucky I am!
Keep Sparking Everyone! It's a wonderful journey when you hang in there! emoticon
