Sugar High

On Friday I went out to lunch with a friend. We ate healthy (baked chicken, potatoe and salad for me) and I decided to have some green tea. The green tea was good but I should have realized when it said sweetened it would be too much. Lately, I haven't had much sugar or salt in my diet, so this sweetened tea hit me hard.

It was good but it made me so giddy I think my co-workers thought I had been drinking alcohol at lunch. I was bouncing off the walls for about 1 or 2 hours. Thankfully I was still productive but boy it felt weird.

Note to self - no more sweetened drinks. Stick to the water.

    I've noticed the same thing lately. With all my water drinking, I'm just not used to the major sugar shocks!
    ... but aren't you glad we've made the healthy choice? I sure am.
