So today my DH and I bought knee pads. So why the investment in decent knee pads?
Well some time in November we are going to drive to St Louis and go to the St Louis City Museum. So what is up with the knee pads, why would you need those at a museum? Glad you asked! This is not your ordinary museum. This is, as the website states
"Welcome to CITY MUSEUM, where the imagination runs wild!
Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children's playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects."
Basically they got/made a bunch of stuff welded it together and let people climb on it. You have to check out the website. http://www.citymuseum.org/home
It is totally crazy. We went last year for the first time and had a BLAST. This year we decided better knee pads were in order, re-bar can be hard on the knees, when you are climbing through a tunnel of it 40 feet above the ground!
My DH loves the 10 story spiral slide. Yeah adults can fit.
So thus the knee pads.
