The Longest Nite!

Sunday, November 07, 2010

When the times change, it must be extremely difficult on people who have insomonia. I mean, I sleep well most nites. I usually wake up a couple of times then go back to sleep, but my goodness this night seemed to never end! LOL! I like getting the extra hour but I hate that night seems to last soooo long. You can't help but get on up and start your day when the alarm FINALLY goes off. At least, that's how I feel.

On another note: been making plans to get away for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Going to spend time in Alabama with my sister who's a yr older than me, then Christmas in Dallas with my sister who's three yrs older. (I got 7 in all), I REALLY don't want to be here for the holidays. It'll be the first holiday without mom in my whole entire life. I just don't think I can handle being here this year. emoticon

I am fortunate that I don't have to deal with the time change, not that it makes any difference when I only get 3-4 hours a night sleep lol.
That is a very good idea to spend time with your sisters at special holiday times.
I can't imagine the pain of not having your Mom around :(((

I always reset my clocks about noon...that way I still go to bed a my normal 'time'...it's easier to fool the stomach then it is the brain!!

How well I remember my first Christmas without my mom...it was a glorious day, I felt like she was right there with us all through her recipes and tradtions that we grew up with...Enjoy the day...fill it full of happy memories. HUGS!!

You have to do what you feel is right.
I hope you enjoy your holidays and remember that worrying about things isn't going to change them so you might as well enjoy the day and make the best of it instead.
