Plateau Revisited and now 11 pounds to go!

Friday, November 05, 2010

Friday, June 18, 2010 was the date of my elated Plateau Busted blog.
I have been on a slippery slope since then allowing myself the occasional indulgence of less than helpful foods and a couple months where I didn't get my 1000 fitness minutes while I hung around with the boys for summer.

Well, the scale of late has been doing a little dance around the 235-240 mark with 236 pounds as the normal number. This is down from the "Obese" Bmi for me, but only by a fragment, and still in the "Over" zone in a big way.

I am guessing I will have to take the reigns of my food intake with a titans grip and begin hitting the gym for weight training more ( far more ) frequently. I have to say I am ecstatic that I haven't rebounded to the weight that I started at 39 pounds ago, but I need to shove through this to the next level.

A hike is planned for our 15th Anniversary tomorrow, so that will be a great calorie burner right there with my favorite people in the world :)

I guess I should mention that it's not all grim and grey - my size 40 shorts I have been replacing my 42's with are even getting loose to where I need a belt :)
Seriously enjoying the progress milestones and the freedom from debilitating back pain and sedentary lifestyle.
