Easy Ways to Get 5
Add fruit to your cereal or oatmeal.
Make a simple syrup or sauce to top waffles or pancakes at breakfast.
Add fruit to plain yogurt to make your own flavors.
Snack on raw vegetables or fruits instead of chips or pretzels.
Have a colorful bowl of fruits & veggies on the table. If you see them, you will eat them.
Carry dried fruits or trail mix with you for a snack.
Add more vegetables (tomatoes, spinach, peppers, cabbage) to canned soups.
Add fruit or more veggies to your salads. Raisins, apples and tangerine slices add sweet, crunchy variety to a salad. Green beans, peas or corn add variety to salads, too.
