Feeling a Little Lazy Today...

Monday, November 01, 2010

This weekend was such a great and much needed weekend away with my honey emoticon. For once I had the ENTIRE weekend off from work, and it just so happened to fall on the weekend of Halloween as well... emoticon

So the hubbs and I got to thinking if we really wanted to do the whole buying a costume, and hitting up a Halloween house party, or at the bars, but for some reason this year we just weren't amused by the idea.. So he suggests lets get away for the weekend and take a mini road trip up to Cincinnati, OH and go to King's Island and spend the day enjoying their Halloween festivities! ! emoticon

What a great idea!! We love road trips, spending time together, amusement parks, and Halloween the perfect combo!! WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!

I did however take SOME liberties to enjoy some of my amusement park favs: chili cheese fries, funnel cake, and I even tried for the first time one of those HUGE turkey legs lol... emoticon.

Everything was very good, but I didn't loose my head, I knew I had weigh in that following Monday so I kept my wits about myself and made sure that everything I had my love and I shared them together.. The weather was also Fabulous, and after 7pm about 8-10 of the rides turn into various haunted houses that were a lot of fun ( I highly recommend) emoticon

So we really enjoyed ourselves, and each other and as a added bonus we were there from about 4-11pm so our bodies were shot from the extensive walking, so we did get a workout even while out having fun!! emoticon

What a great weekend in deed, so now it's back to the grind and back to our regular schedules, but at least it was fun and something to look forward to for the time being.

Till Next Time,
