We did it! My knees have a Half Marathon hangover but the race went well. My official time was 2:17:56!! I was really pleased with that - was shooting for under 2:30. My running partner for the race is consistently faster than I am so I helped him hold back early and he helped me move it along later. I had a sticker on my watch reminding me that I needed to run 11:23 miles to stay under 2:30... but our average was 10:32. I had a moment of insanity when I thought 2:15 was possible (someday!) but let it go and was glad I did. I finished smiling but definitely with an empty tank. Thanks for your support, everybody!

I wore my tshirt and medal to church this morning :).

I'm so glad that you had a successful run. With all of your preparation, I felt certain that you would meet your goal. If I were you I'd probably sleep in the tshirt and medal. You deserve it. Congradulations
