Just saw something that made me recognize the importance of intent.

Intent is essential to be successful in weight loss. Intent means a purposeful, thoughful, interconnection between mind, heart, and physical actions. It necessitates a shift in paradigm, a refocusing of priorities, the pursuit of personal goals. We become more finely tuned as humans, more committed, more cognizant of our environment, both in how it it impacts us and what we must do to be able to control, manage, or master it. It allows us to view this transition as a new threshold, full of limitless opportunity and new challenges, and the potential to succeed in the quest. For those previously unsuccessful at finishing the task, tenacity can lead to a victorious outcome. Intent is the binding of our resolve toward and through the completion of the journey. By integrating intent into the very core of the journey, the strength of our desire can push us through any roadblocks that arise.
