So since I went to the doctor, my glucose test cam back normal...thank god! That doesn't make it an excuse for me to go back to my old ways. I am trying to make a good habit of making good conscious food choices as well as exercising. In the end, when my stress is low, good eats and exercise are really the key and can make it easy or me to lose some easily gained poundage. I don't have school for the next two months, so with that said, my stress levels will have decreased dramatically. In this time, I can establish a good routine and lose probably a significant amount of weight. I lost 4.8 pounds since I got back into Spark People. I worked out 3 times last week, didn't do much during the weekend because of a stressful class that involved a final and a project. Now that all is said and done, I am completely devoted. My daughter keeps me going as well. I have to find some way to get my energy levels and keep up with her, as well as setting a good example at home to live a healthy life style.

Today is Monday. Not a bad day. Started off my day waking up at 6 am to go to a 7 am doctor appt. They forgot to take a tube of blood to test fasting how my doctors staff screws everything up. Nonetheless...I was up and motivated for the day. I got home, packed my gym back, breakfast and lunch and went to work. I went to Police Department Gym at lunchtime and did 25 minutes on the elliptical. I was pooped after that. I am trying to make it a goal to do an hour of exercise 6 days a week. I am thinking about going to Target to go get Jillian Michaels's 30 Day Shred. I need something challenging and fun that will kick my butt. If I go get it tonight, perhaps I'll start it tonight. Well anywho...I'm feeling great and I'll keep you all posted with how things go. Here's to hoping I don't fall off track again, and if I do, to know I haven't failed, but it is rather part of the process and I will pick myself up again! Have a great night, and if I don't post for a couple of days, I hope everyone has a great week! emoticon

Sounds like you are getting a good start. One small step at a time. And like you said, falling off track doesn't mean you have failed....just pick yourself up and try again. You can do it!
