I was reading a review of a Spark Recipe and the reviewer said she liked the recipe so much, she was going to add it to her monthly rotation. I should have emailed her to ask her how to set up a monthly rotation of menus, but I didn't, and now I can't remember where I saw it. So -- does anyone here do anything like that?
As a retiree, I only get paid once a month, so it would be good if I could plan all my meals. I was thinking of starting out with something like this:
Sunday- Breakfast casserole
Monday- Cold cereal, fruit
Tuesday- Poached eggs, bacon,wheat toast
Wednesday-Hot cereal, toast
Thursday - Cold cereal, fruit
Friday- Yogurt, toast
Saturday- Hot cereal, toast
Monday- Soup & sandwich
Thursday - Salad
Friday- Soup & fruit
Saturday - Salad
Sunday - Sunday dinner (day to try new recipe)
Monday - Leftover
Tuesday - Beef
Thursday - Pork or Turkey
Friday - Frozen (pizza, lasagnia, etc.
Saturday - Pasta

r.com) This is the link to the sign-up page, and she will send you videos to show you how to freeze different types of vegetables, and also things like milk and cheese. It's pretty basic, but I've picked up some good ideas, and she suggests you use things in the home and not go out and buy expensive stuff. And she explains also the best way to thaw out foods too.
