From a total bust to my very best

Monday, October 25, 2010

Last week was a total bust for food choices ... well, I did make some better ones Friday and Saturday, but they were still out at restaurants, so I don't know exactly how much better they were. Don't want to know at this point either, so keep your calorie counters to yourselves, thank you very much. LOL Had a very hectic week and was out of town for the better part of two days.

I bought a nice treadmill emoticon Saturday morning and it should be arriving this afternoon. I'm very excited about that.

Of course, hubby already is looking forward to putting it to use, which worries me. In all honestly, there isn't much he doesn't manage to tear up once he gets his hands on it. And I don't think the warranty covers user abuse.

I had actually saved the money to buy a new hex aquarium for seahorses, but decided the treadmill was the better investment. It was a lot of money for me to save up and if he tears this up for me, it will so totally be on. emoticon

For once, I want something of my own that doesn't get messed up by someone else in my household. Wonder how long this one will last ... ?

LOL Tears them up as in hard on them, neglegent with proper care/maintenance, etc. Simply careless. and YES, if he tears it up he will buy the cadillac of treadmills i passed on. Had a built in fan and everything. lol

When U say he tears them up, U mean is hard on them while he's using them, or he literally tears in2 them to see why there is a ticking, or a rubbing, etc? That's what MY hubby does. "Why does it make that noise? It's got to be something loose in HERE" then b4 I know it, it's apart & never put back 2gether the same. LOL! He did that with the TM I bought from my gf 5 yrs ago when I 1st started losing my weight. Found out that's why she sold it, yet she didn't care she charged me $80 for a faulty TM. But hubby just HAD to figure out why it was doing what it was doing, tore it apart, & never did get it back 2gether right. Still in our basement to this day!
Good luck & enjoy as long as U can! Hey, just tell him he's buying the next 1 if this 1 gets worn out b4 it's time!
    Hugs,
    Ruth
