Define Success
Daily Inspiration

Success is a very interesting word that has a different meaning for everyone. For some, success is gauged by the size of their home and the amount of money they have accumulated. For others, success has very little to do with financial acquisition and worldly possessions. There is even some confusion in the dictionary. According to my dictionary, success is defined as follows. 1) A favorable or satisfactory outcome or result. 2) The gaining of wealth, fame, rank, etc.

The truth is that success is a state of mind. It’s about achievement for sure, but exactly what needs to be achieved in order to feel successful varies with each individual. The most satisfying type of success, at least in my humble opinion, is weighed in the quality of life you live and the depth of the relationships you build. As that old saying so aptly states, “I’ve never heard one person on their death bed wish that they had spent more time at the office!” True life success isn’t found at the office or in the workplace. It’s found in the fabric of your everyday life and in the connections you make with those around you. I can tell you this: Success is a very personal thing that is available to each of you no matter what your employment or economic situation is. So, I ask you today, how do you define success?

Wishing You Great Health,
