Bad few days at BedRock

I did an accurate budget and realized I was spending more than my income and that my credit was close to maxed out...quiet desperation.

My printer stopped printing color no matter what I did. I tolerated black ink, thinking about the cost of repairs.

My computer kept giving me a weird duplicated many times screen. I thought I had a computer virus. Called Best Buy's Geek Sq
uad who advised me to bring it in. I was very worried about the cost.

I was taking my better half to linner (lunch+dinner) and we were rear-ended. My partner in the passenger seat was fine, but my body ached. I went to my chiropractor who wasn't successful at adjusting my back due to swelling.

Yep - not too good..

My insomnia never seems to end (yawn).

Finances - I realized I had to keep on top of them and watch the impulse spendings. Save the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.
Printer - I know that electrical things tend to do strange stuff around me so I always get a good warrenty. Office Max traded out the printer, no questions asked.
The computer - free - covered by warany
The accident - The guy was in his twenties, so apologetic, admitted it was his fault. His insurance company is covering everything. And we have a standing invitation to go to his family's Greek restaurant - Opa!

To everything there is a silver lining - Oh - except my insomnia - lol.

Have a wonderful day and don't forget to count your blessings!

Very sorry about the accident. I am happy to hear that the insurance company will pay for everything.

Glad most of your misfortunes had happy outcomes!

I keep my finances in a spreadsheet, as I use the debit card mostly, and to keep track, it's set up like a check register. Keep the receipts in my wallet and enter them daily, it's easy. and copy expenses to a monthly budget sheet, to balance income and expenses, and see where I can economize.

If I don't keep up, it becomes another pile of clutter to deal with, as it is now.

    Best wishes emoticon
