Hi SP I am so excited because today I got my new Polar ft40 Heart rate monitor!!! I am so in love, I am the type of person who likes to see the automatic results and obviously the scale is not going to change right away but when I see the exact amount of calories I am expelling from my body it is instant gratification. I work out harder and longer and it is defiantly more fun I cant wait until tomorrow morning to run my daily 5K so I can see just how much I am burning. Y'all don't even understand its like chocolate to me I have never been more motivated. I have 28 lbs to go to reach my goal weight and with my new Polar FT40 I will be there in no time.

I just bought a Polar FT4. I paid $89 on heartratemonitorusa. I love it. I have the watch and the chest strap. I wore it for the first time during my 5k on Saturday. I was so focused on keeping my heart rate within range. It was so much fun to use. uUnfortunately I learn all my Wii fitness games are doing nothing for me. That's a bummer b/c they ar so much fun. I will just keep them around for rainy days.

No it is not biggest loser type,I wish but they are like $300 that is out of my price range. Mine is just a watch that I can ware all the time and when I plan to work out I have to put this band around my chest that is the actual heart rate moniter. It tells my wach my heart rate, my target heart rate,My calories burnned, how long my excercize and witch are most effective. It was only $120 and very worth it!

WooHoo! Enjoy your new toy! Is this like a regular heart rate monitor you can use to figure out your calories burned? Or like the monitors they use on biggest loser you plug into a program, along with recording your foods and what-not? I have a watch/hear rate monitor I've never figured out yet....
