Yesterday, Denise and I completed a 28+ mile bike ride out in the country.
This was a ride we did several years ago and we thought the hills might be too much to do.
I am happy to say we did it with ease. I kept thinking where are those big hills we were dreading.
They were there, but we are both so much stronger now, we sailed over them!

I had such a great feeling on this ride and am truly amazed at how much stronger we both are!!
There were two hills in particular that I was 'worried' about on this ride, but we both rode up them beautifully -- there wasn't any need for me to worry
Several years ago we were told if we wanted to get better on the hills that we'd have to spend a lot of time on our bikes going up hills -- which we have, and it has paid off in so many ways for us.
There was soooooooo much beauty all around us on that ride -- it was truly a joy to take it all in.
