Little bump in the road

Frustrated because I didn't get to exercise yesterday. Was dressed and ready to sweat; unfortunately the DVD player had other ideas. I wasted 10 minutes trying to get it to work; to no avail.

Things like this could be the beginning of my downfall if I let it....but I am not going to let it. It is just a bump in the road. I am going to have to maneuver around it and keep on going.

My plan today is to exercise 40 mins. to make up for the 20 mins. I did get in yesterday. My exercise of choice is workout DVD's but if I can't make that happen, then it will either be 2 20 min. walks or one 40 minute walk. I am determined to get all my scheduled exercise in for the week.

I keep telling myself that it is times like these that make us stronger.


1) Activia yogurt and oatmeal
2) Tangerine
3) Chicken salad sandwich with walnuts & raisins on whole wheat toast
4) Black bean mango chili with crushed tortilla chips
5) Great northern bean salad with tomatos
6) Apple and peanut butter

EXERCISE: 20 Mins. workout DVD

10 min. cardio crunch
10 min. buns & thighs

Was too tired after the first 20 minutes to do the 2nd 20. Will do 20 mins. of exercise Sat. evening.
