10k in TWO DAYS!!!

This is going to be my fifth 10k. and my third time to run the Chile Pepper 10k. I didn't train for it at all, so I'm kinda scared. I just expect to run close to an 8 minute pace... we'll see. I've become pretty slow since running a marathon for hte first time last april. My pace moved to about 9:30 for runs that are only 5-7 miles. Oops. I'm gonna have to tap on the gas on Saturday.
In other news, I have been at my new job for over two months now. I'm doing web/graphic design and design for iPhone apps! Super cool gig. But I don't have as much time to work out. I teach 4 classes a week at the gym which kinda keeps me in check, and I'm also about to start training for my second Marathon which is on 3/6/11. I think I'm gonna have to start running more during the week to prepare for training because right now I might run twice a week. If you're lucky....
One more thing--I signed up for the Ozark Adventure Race!
And I'm doing the LONG one on a team with two other guys who I don't really know very well. But i've been mountain biking a LOT to prepare for that. just bought a bike back in July). Had my first hardcore crash on Monday. I just have some bad bruises. Nothing too damaging.
I just need to learn how to convince myself to eat healthier.
