Well, I have gotten back on track in a huge way! I am back on my meal plan with a vengeance, and my trainer has allowed me to have apples again. I never thought I would be so excited over an apple, but after not eating them for so long, I forgot how effing delicious they are.
My birthday is Monday, and my husband took me out to dinner and a movie on Saturday b/c our schedules are so tight this week coming up. While we were at dinner, he encouraged me to have a couple drinks. He kept telling me that I have been doing so well lately and I deserve it. I gave in to his temptation and ended up having 3 drinks. I am a super light weight so that was all it took for me. After having those drinks, it reminds me why I don’t drink in the first place. They aren’t that great and they are just needless calories.
I told my husband that if I gained weight in the morning that I would punch him in the face for making me have those drinks… but much to my surprise, I lost another pound!!! Yea me. I guess I balanced my intake for the day in a way that the alcohol didn’t affect it too bad… not looking forward to what my trainer is going to say to me though… she is very anti-alcohol. Cheers.
