We had a really nice weekend. I *almost* stayed in but at the last minute my friends convinced me I would have a good time rock climbing and they would help me figure it out. I need to lose more weight before I can actually do anything effectively but I did manage to get up. At the end, my friend led me up around the back of the mountain and tricked me into belaying both of us down from the top. I was scared beyond reason but it was really cool. I like being pushed to the limit lately. Its nice to try things completely out of your comfort zone!
I also like doing outdoor activities that give me a reason to train harder in the gym. Its so much easier to have a goal in mind than just a general sense of "i need to get into shape." Its much better to think, "I want to lose ten pounds so I can climb higher... I want to increase my flexibility before we go out hiking in two weeks."
