I gained another 1.2 lbs this week! I haven't had a lose since my birthday last month. I'm going toget back to tracking my points religiously!!! I can't gain the weight that I have worked so hard to take off!
I normally work out on the treadmill everyday. I think I will do something different because my left knee has really been hurting. I take ibuprofen and put ice on my knee. I can't quit working out, but, I can make some modifications. I need to get back to taking my spin classes. My knees never bothered me while I was on the bike. The only problem is that the class starts at 5:15 a.m. Oh lord!! I could attend the 5:30 p.m. class, but, I really prefer working out in the morning. You never know what comes up in the afternoon. I'm back to basics! emoticon

    I believe I am in the same boat as you, so I'll grab and oar so we can row ourselves forward!
    I know it sounds daunting to be at a class at 5:15 AM, and by the way how far is it to that gym? Why not try to get there and commit to just 1 week and see if your energy is up.
    For me I need to take a look at my nutrition, re-evaluate my meals, and find some new ways of adding something into my mix of fitness. I can feel a rut moving on in, and its time to shove it out of the way before roots start.

    Have you been doing any strength training? If not why not add a few exercises you can find here on SP to your day, say 3 times a week to start. What are some other options you are willing to try for getting your morning workouts in?

    Make yourself a bullet list to choose from with exercises both cardio & strength and just mix it up a little each day or every other day. That's what I am going to try. I also have my husband checking his news group for Zumba workouts he can burn for me to try in the privacy of my home. I will have to slowly work myself up to checking out a gym for a class. I really would like to find a women's self defense class to take though, especially with the hopes of trying new areas to do my walking in. I can now drive to those places but, that takes me out of familar settings and you can never be too careful.
    Just move forward, focus on your basics, and stay determined.
