So, I have been doing better about keeping track of what I am eating, and I am seeing positive results! I don't always track on sparkpeople, but I am consistently writing my food intake down in a notebook. I am slowly, and steadily losing weight! My goal is to maintain my lean mass, while losing fat mass. So far, I have been doing just that. I am down to 165, and have a goal to be down to 164 by this Friday. I have been running on the treadmill, and lifting weights. I lift 3 days a week, and run or walk everyday except for Sunday. I have also seen a huge improvement in my mood. I feel so much better about myself, and I feel confident in reaching my goals! I have been setting small weekly goals. Doing this has kept me motivated, and helped me to not procrastinate. I set my goals each Friday, since that is my official weigh in day. I also don't beat myself up mentally for not reaching my goal by friday. I just push that goal to a few days after, if I didn't reach it. I feel that by doing that I am telling my body that it is not a failure, and it is doing what it is supposed to, and my expectations were off as far as time line goes. I have been practicing positive self talk, and I can see how that has helped me. I am a fat burning machine! Watch my ticker go down and down!
