Hi all...update on mom

Friday, October 01, 2010

Just wanted to thank EVERYONE for their prayers and good thoughts. Please keep them going. Mom has to start 12 more rounds of chemo this coming Thursday. So the holidays should be just a LITTLE more stressed this year(LOL). But, I think she is doing asa well as can be expected. I think this is just for precaution. I am telling her to stay positive and praying. But, I know that God is with us. If He brings us to it, He will bring us through it!!
I am trying to concentrate on me as well. I have had a good last couple of weigh-ins, down 2 1/4 lbs. I will take it. My dr. told me I have until December to get my blood sugars down or I have to start insulin. Please PRAY for me too. Thanks again...YOU ALL ARE THE BESTEST! LOL

I appreciate the update. Yes, i will keep you and your family in prayer. Don't know what exercise you are doing, ( I am diabetic), but I take a cardio strengthen class and with the amtch of the weights and the cardio, helped me avoid insulin, which I afraid of. Walking also is wonderful to move to activate the liver to function so that is not a build up of sugars in your body.
