well my effort today was to concentrate on writing down everything that I put in my mouth. I put inspirational stickers on the front of a small spiral notebook and had it in my pocket all day. I wrote down what I ate( and when ) and I am anxious to see how the calories stack up tonight. At my lunch "break" I went out and sat in the van with the windows cracked and just rested . It was a beautiful day here and the break away from the vending machine and the hectic atmosphere was very helpful. I'm trying to listen to my body and determine if I'm truly hungry or just trolling for food - and what could I do instead of mindlessly eating... I think I'm going to take up crochet again - can't eat and do needlework- or at least not easily. :-)

    The crochet really helps me, too! As you said, it's kinda hard to do that and eat at the same time (not without great difficulty anyway ;)).
