How’s Your Gladitude?
Daily Inspiration

I was out driving around town the other day with a friend when I inadvertently crossed paths with an irate driver. It seems that I wasn’t moving fast enough because he came up from behind me very quickly, passed me and then cut in front of me nearly clipping my front bumper in the process. And, as he proceeded by me, he extended me a hand signal that I remember from high school. And it wasn’t the “We’re #1” sign either. My friend turned to me as said, “Nice attitude!” I then instantly said to my friend, “He needs a better Gladitude!”

As those words left my lips, I immediately knew that this was a word I needed to share with you. I see this kind of frustration all time in the messages that I get from those people trying to live a healthier and happier life. Their frustration typically comes from focusing on those things that they are trying to stay away from or those things that they don’t have. If you focus on what you DON’T have, you create a life of agony and misery. The key to finding peace of mind and happiness in this life is to embrace what you DO have. If this sounds like you, this may be the perfect day for an attitude adjustment that will improve your mood. If you find yourself with a poor attitude, be thankful for what you have and make today the day you start showing your gladitude.

Wishing You Great Health,
