Back in the gym . . .

Sweating, stretching, walking, water jogging and 11 miles on the recumbent bike! I thought that by the end of my workout I would feel sore and tired.
Instead I feel relaxed and stress free! I had forgotten how good a workout makes me feel. Could be the stretching after the workout, might be the treat to myself for a good workout-a dip in the hot tub. Whatever it is, it feels
It felt strange being the only person in the gym. Going to the gym at 8:30 PM might the reason for that. But it meant I could set the XM station for some classic rock and workout to an excellent beat.
Next 2 investments for my fitness routine are a heart monitor and an mp3 player for those days when the guys have nothing but ESPN on or the music is nothing more than noise.
Treadmill: 30 minutes-1.6 miles
Recumbent bike: 30 minutes-11 miles
Water jogging: 5 minutes
Stretching: 5 minutes
