One Crazy Week, Bitter Sweet and Wacky!

Thursday, September 30, 2010

It has been a crazy week. My cat needed surgery, my daughter and son-in-law were visiting from out of town, and son-in-law had a wacky time here.

Son-in-law (Bryan) missed his flight here because he lost his Blackberry and didn't want to get on the plane till he found it. He never found it, but at least he got on another flight. It was the last flight of the day, and by the time he got to my house, it was very late and we were all tired.

Then his sister had to have emergency surgery. He went to his folks house and while everyone was at the hospital with his sis, he managed to lock himself out of the house. He had made a quick trip out to his car to fetch his laptop, and the door locked behind him. BUT HE WAS IN HIS UNDERWEAR AND BAREFOOT! Oops. He at least had car keys, and he realized that another sister was at her own home, so he drove there, all the while nervous as he drove through school zones hoping he wouldn't be stopped for anything (broken tail light? who knows? with his luck.) Nervous and stressed, he was accident prone.

All went well with the sister in the hospital and kitty is fine now. The kids are back home now, and I'm tired. I ate too much of the wrong things, and had a little too much alcohol.

So it is now "Get Back on Track" time. I gained some pounds and didn't exercise for a week. It feels good to be back to normal. I miss the kids, but.....I'll see them in November at THEIR HOUSE.

Oh, daughter called to say that Bryan's car got towed. He parked in a no-parking zone, not realizing that is was. I hope his luck changes soon.

Wow...wacky is right! Sounds like a situation comedy - totally. :)

Good for you getting right back to it though!

Wow that is bad luck. Maby if he was a little more alert?
