Had an awesome day yesterday, and a good one today!

Yesterday, I got a pair of jeans I hadn't been able to wear in MONTHS on! Then, because it gave me a little bit of muffin top, I put on a blouse to camoflauge it, and threw on a cute fedora a sweetheart of a friend gave me. I looked FANTASTIC! My profile pic is of how I looked. I felt so good about myself, and really felt like this whole process is WORKING.

Today, I went for a nice walk again. Da Hubband (my husband) is off today, and we went walking on the trail that I use in the next town over. There's a really awesome walking trail, about a mile circle of it is a hilly hiking trail. I love that part of the trail, but because of my lack of coordination normally, I don't walk it alone. it's a killer workout, and we weren't even 5 minutes into the roughest part of it before my calves were burning like mad, and I'm saying I have to go back, it's too hard tonight, blah blah. I pushed through, though. It was AWESOME! I feel so good! Like I accomplished something today.

Tomorrow is doctor for my youngest to clear him to go under general anesthesia, because he's got some rather nasty dental work, and doesn't do well with the 'happy gas' as they call it. So he's got to be put under on Friday. I'm not worried about it. Frustrated with my mother (who lives with us). She oh-so-nicely insinuated herself into what I had hoped would be a mother-son event by basically telling my son that when he had his tonsils out, he wanted Grammy, so does he think he's going to want her Friday. OF COURSE a seven-year-old is going to say yes when asked like that! I'm so tired of her trying to make herself my kids' mom, not their grandma. And if I try to stand up to her, she gets abusive. DON'T SAY I HAVE TO MAKE HER MOVE OUT. I've been trying for years, and can't figure out how to do it drama free yet. I want as little drama as possible, because she DOES have my kids so wrapped up in her. I don't want to cause them any more pain than I have to.

C'est la vie, life goes on.
