Do I pat myself on the back or kick myself in the butt??

Today was a very long day. I had a 4 hour training to attend (on a Sunday! What's up with that!). On top of , I had to travel 1 1/2 hours each way just to get to the thing. By the time I got home, it was 5:00. I ate supper and then fell asleep in the chair.
I know that I ate healthy. Instead of snacking on candy, brownies, chips and soda I went for the fresh veggies. Had a healthy sandwich with veggies and turkey!
My problem is feeling guilty that I only fit in 30 minutes of exercise. What's up with that!!
So here is what I decided!
1-I patted myself on the back for eating healthy. It would have been so easy to lapse especially with 2 bowls of candy sitting on the table in front of me! Score 1 point for me!
2-I did NOT kick myself in the butt for not exercising more than 30 minutes. Obviously my body was sending me a message that I missed. It said: "Hey turkey! I need a break!" I very rarely nap so it wasn't worth beating myself up over.
Lesson learned and
to me for following through and eating healthy!
