Starting fresh

Sunday, September 26, 2010

I have been back and forth with my exercise and weightloss. I am starting a new period now and I am going to try this blogging and see how it goes. I am not sure what i am suppose to do other than tell what I am doing and how.

I started working out again today and I have been watching what I ate so thats good. Just need to get some more exercise. I was told Friday that I have to see a specialist, an endocrinologist. Doc says my body is attacking my thyroid and the endo dude is suppose to know more about that. He also said that that is part of my problem with weight and the headaches. Apparently my thyroid is having fun on a roller coaster, it goes really high then bottoms out and back up and you get the picture. Well this is my first entry and I will see how this goes.

You might have Hashimotos.... Don't know if I spelled that right. I have a book I just picked up that discusses it. I can let you know what it is if you'd like to order it. Let me know what the doctor says. I started going to a holistic doctor for my thyroid because my primary doctor was unable to help me.

Good luck at the docs and congrats on starting your weight loss journey here. I too have headaches (well it is one continuous headache) and am hoping loosing weight will help.

I have found the more I am involved with this site (blogging and on message boards), the better I do staying within my calories range and reaching my exercising goals.
