Back to feeling like I rock

This week has been a rough one. I've been cleaning like a fiend, taking care of a sick 4 year old for a couple of days, stressing about money and the cleanliness of my apartment and, in general, not feeling like I was keeping on top of things the way that I should.
But then came today. I managed to get a boatload done in the apartment (everything except the pantry and my bedroom at least neat looking and vacuumed). I got the boys' in the tub before PDO, made their lunches, got them dressed, got the recycling in the van, dropped off the boys then the recycling... all before 11:30. I was able to get in the shower so I was smelling good when my in-laws arrived near noon.
We went out to lunch at Ruby Tuesday. I had one of their Fit and Trim meals... calories around 500, I think. I drank water for lunch and had about 4 glasses. I played a good host to my in-laws until they left to check into their hotel room. I have been behaving myself.
I was feeling pretty bad this morning because I knew I had so much to do and was convinced I wouldn't have the time to do it. Also, when I weighed in (since today is weigh-in day for our Family Biggest Loser), I was convinced that I'd gained .4 pounds. I'd misremembered my initial weight. Instead, I lost 1.4 pounds! So I'm still working my way down that weight track.
This weekend is going to be the tough part. We're celebrating Pete's 2nd birthday at Chuck E Cheese. I have a half sheet cake and have found out that most of the kids that were supposed to come can't, so there will be a lot left over. But I know I can be strong.
And even though they don't know it yet, the teachers at the boys' PDO will be getting a lot of left over cake. ;)
