My body is falling apart. Am I getting old?

So for the past few months I have been working out at least 5 times a week. I have been biking a minimal of 20 miles a week in addition to other things. For the past few days I have felt a pulling over my knee like a rubber band. I am worried that the constant biking may be doing damage to my knee. I am scared to keep up my pace because I do not want to pull something in my knee so I guess I will have to try walking instead. Maybe it will be less work for the knee.
Last night I decided to work on my back yard. I have a large tree in the back which is killing my grass because it is taking all the moisture from the ground. So I did some research and was told to chop up the ground about 2 inches then put 2 inches of a soil/compost mixture down and then seed. So I took my hoe and worked up the ground, last night. I only got about 1/4 of my yard done. When I woke up this morning my back is screaming. So I skipped my normal biking and took the morning off. Tonight I have to work on the back yard some more.
In Two weeks I will be 38. In my mind I am still in my late 20's but my body is acting like it is 50!
