Just Do It!

I know, it's so cliche by now, but seriously, there are times that you have to tell yourself to just do it. Just start. No more putting it off, no more excuses, no more wondering how you'll do. Jump in and take off!

We're having a hard time with this, especially first thing in the morning because I'm just not in the mood to fix anything. Although, I will be doing smoothies soon, the healthy kind. Real frozen fresh fruit, plain yogurt, and either low fat milk or orange juice. It's yummie, no extra sugar. It has enough sugar from the fruits. Plus I can put a handful of spinach in it and some ground flaxseed meal and it's a very nutritious breakfast.

I also have an amazing recipe for eggs and fake sausage cups that has onion, mushrooms, bell peppers and whatever else sounds good to me in them. Very yummie, good protein, not as much fat because we use veggie sausage. Those tend to get eaten quickly and they take a lot of eggs to make.

I have lots of stuff... Still made a bagel with cream cheese this morning. So not healthy. Not like I ate cake, but almost as bad. :/ It's my fault for having bought the bagels. They are just so easy to make in the morning when we're in a hurry.

I'm going to go to my local farmer's market and get some bags of nuts and raisins and things of the sort to include in oatmeal. I use the old fashioned oats without any sugar just some added nuts or something of the sort and that's a pretty decent breakfast. Still not the best, but it's hard to find many different healthy breakfasts. Or at least ones that I can make quickly. Sure Sure, I could not come online and spend that time making breakfasts... but that would just make me resentful of it. After tomorrow I can go to bed earlier and get up earlier though and have time not only to make a healthy breakfast but to also exercise.

As far as exercise goes, after tomrrow, so starting on Wednesday evening, I'm going to start doing my Wii Fit in the evening. We're having a hard time getting the kids up in the morning so we're going to put them to bed earlier so my husband will also have time to do the Wii Fit with me. :) I need to stretch in the morning. I will find my "mega yoga" book (yoga for overweight chicks) and start working on that. I have my room cleared out in the middle so I can also start doing exercise tapes in there if I want. We'll see how it goes. One thing at a time. First start with the Wii Fit at night and go from there. Perhaps I can start a timeline with that... I do still have my spark people calendar that I haven't used yet. Hmmm.. sounds like a plan. :)
