Thanks for the comments! :) Yes my original goal was a small one actually. At the end of 2008, i had decided that i would lose 52 pounds in 2009(a pound a week), but i didnt start the weight loss journey til the end of February and had made the goal of losing 52 pounds by september! I was ecstatic. Then had the goal of losing 100 pounds in a year, but i think that just overwhelmed me lol I think i will stick to 52 pounds a year or the different challenges i take on SP :) 3859 days ago
Megan when I started Sparkpeople I decided to loose 2 pounds, now who can't loose 2 pounds, no matter how long it took my goal was 2 pounds... that worked for me and as you might remember I have now lost 2008 pounds, 2 pounds at a time. I celebrated each victory and still do.. it could be the day I could tie my shoe and not feel like my brains were going to burst, or the day when I could jump in the truck and not need a step stool or when I could fit in the booth or chair with arms when we went out for dinner...
set goals that you know you can and will reach, once you get some steam behind ya you won't be able to stop
You don't know me but, I HOPE that you continue on Your 100 Pound Journey. If the Biggest Loser Constants can "Do It" so, can we. It's not impossible & Takes ALLOT of Dedication & Hard Sweat Work, along with Watching what we Eat.
Happy Early Birthday cos, I'm like 2,000 Miles away from you & won't be able to Celebrate with you.
on Losing 75 Lbs & Maintaining it. Keep it up & soon enough you'll have reached your Goal.
Well, Good Luck & Have a Great Week.
