I gained this week.....YUCK!

I am trying to have a positve attitude about putting on half a pound this week.
I was so excited all week fully expecting to see the scale drop at least 1 and a half pounds at weigh in. But instead was I shocked when it went UP! I know half a pound seems small & insignificant to some, but I worked really hard exercising this week, which I thought would take me over the top, even though my snacking all week was at a all time high I offset it by working out.
hmmmm, maybe it could be I am building more muscle, and that was the weight gain...positive thinking.....

Whatever, I am struggling today to be positive and give it my all this week to drop those two pounds that have held up my celebration (of making that 10% goal).
I need motivation today, so I will be on Sparkpeople today reading everything I can to get pumped back up!
Anybody feel me??

    Stay strong and positive, gorgeous. You are doing great. I don't even count things that come in halves anymore - they are just gone so quickly.

    Know that you are doing great and if the scale is bugging you - toss it!

    HI, you are right about portion control on snacks, but get this..I'll have my snacks portioned out, BUT I'll eat one pack, go back and eat another pack of something else emoticon
    teehee. I think I was stressing a little too much this week.
    New week, so I am hanging in there, watching what I put in my mouth, no mindless eating this week. Stay tuned, goal met will be my posting next week!

    Hey! Don't get down on yourself for the gain. Seriously, you may scoff at this, it could be muscle gain.

    I would suggest watch the snacking. I KNOW how hard this can be as I have struggled with this, this week. It takes a lot of self control and discipline. Is there someway to portion out healthy snacks and schedule them?

    I am right there with you and the struggles with positive thinking. I am on a roller coaster ride I had no idea I was even in line for. I am rolling with the "hills" right now and doing little things to gain back control and reign myself in. No one else will do it so I have to make myself do it. It is okay to be down, just don't let it ruin or derail you from what you have started!
