Good news to Share...

Thursday, September 16, 2010

I got some good news today. I went to see the surgeon as recommended by my doc to follow up on the results of 2 mammograms and a sonogram. She checked me out, looked at all the results of this years and last years tests and said that she really doesn't think there is anything to be concerned about. I'll have a follow-up mammogram in 6mos to be sure that there are no changes. Whew, that's one thing off my list.

The job that looked like such a sure thing hasn't called me back after 3 interviews.
The car repair work that I'm hoping to put off for 500 miles is making more noise.
But today the breasts are ok and that is really good news to share!

Great news on the mammogram! Sorry you didn't hear from your interview. Don't get discouraged...my husband didn't think he would get another job off the road trucking, but he did. Think positive and it will come.

Congratulations on the good news. What a relief, huh? I know how something like that can weigh on your mind. As for the job prospect -- I used to work in HR, and sometimes things happen and come up that prevent a quick response. If you've had 3 interviews, you can rest assured that they're taking a really good look at you. I hope you hear something soon, as I know how stressful it can be waiting for an answer. Good luck!

Keeping up the prayers for the rest of life's issues, but this news puts a sunny light on everything.

The rest of your concerns are nothing compared with those great results. That, of all of those worries, is the one I know means the most to receive good news about.

Yipee - nice to have that behind you. Now, we have to find you a job. I'll start looking at the emails I get about jobs and see if there is anything for sales. You will find something.

That's excellent news, Susan. In the grand scheme of things, your health is so much more important than an old job or car...good for you for keeping things positive and in perspective. At least "the girls" are healthy so

emoticon and super great news, hun! I have an idea how you feel, as I went through somewhat the same type of worry and tests, tests and more tests! But it's always a super relief to be told everything is a-okay and check that off the list for sure! emoticon
