Stay The Course

How's your week going? It's half way through and I hope you've found time in it to do what you need or want to do for YOU! If not, what do you need to change to make it happen? Do you have a support person? Someone who's there for you, who will encourage you, who will help make it happen for you or with you? Or do you have people in your life who don't see your big picture? Who don't understand.
The following quote really spoke to me today:
“Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
I have a great inner circle of support with my immediate family. But I do have someone in my outer circle, also a family member, who just doesn't get it. Who just doesn't understand that I have to do these things for me. I have to workout. I have to eat smart. And I struggle with that sometimes.
Stay the course. It's your course, not theirs. If you are dealing with negativity, whether it's coming from someone around you or within yourself, throw it to the side. Brush it off. Stay the course.
Have a great rest of your week!
