Some more potholes...

So I traveled yesterday and today. I still hadn't studied the McDonald's menu, but I had looked over the nutrition the last time I looked up my quarter pounder and this time I chose a grilled chicken snack wrap and a fruit and yogurt parfait (and baby gave me maybe 10 of her fries). Yay Me! I definitely did not eat balanced, but I kept my calories in check yesterday. Then today we hopped back in the truck to come home (about a 4 1/2 hour trip straight drive time but with stops we were on the road 6 hours), and the wheels fell off my will power. I "think" I was just bored...bored of being stuck in the truck and driving. I had the remainder of a loaf of bread in the truck and ate four slices at one point when I wasn't even feeling that hungry. I ate some chocolate I had, I think for mostly the same reason. I stopped at Tim Horton's in Houlton to get a coffee and also took 10 Timbits, 7 of which I ate. Ugh! Thankfully I am home now, I ate broccoli and cauliflower for supper to try to give my body something nutritious today. At least I managed to avoid the soda yet again. It was calling to me while driving. Yeah, ultimately I think it was fatigue and boredom that got to me. So now it's time to pick myself up, brush off the dust, and get back on the horse.
By the way...79 days (more than 11 weeks) soda free.
